Pandorum – SciFi 2009

This is a “must see” for Science Fiction fans, an extremely well made, acted, written and directed.

Special F/X is quite real appearing and believable, the acting skills of Dennis Quaid as Payton and Ben Foster as Bower alone are worth the price.

Started, to us, as a somewhat standard “we need to survive” in outer space movie.

But it doesn’t take long for the story to develop into a terrifying life or death battle for their survival. Imagine yourself waking up not knowing who you are, where you are or why your even there.

This is how it starts and just gets better from there.

The question rapidly becomes. Is this hell real? or Pandorum?

Well worth renting or even owning!

Plot Summary:

“Two crew members are stranded on a spacecraft and quickly – and horrifically – realize they are not alone. Two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It’s pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the ship. They can’t remember anything: Who are they? What is their mission? With Lt. Payton staying behind to guide him via radio transmitter, Cpl. Bower ventures deep into the ship and begins to uncover a terrifying reality. Slowly the spacecraft’s shocking, deadly secrets are revealed…and the astronauts find their own survival is more important than they could ever have imagined.”
